2 Day Horsemanship I Clinic

Service Description

Join Arnulf Koegler of AK Training for his 2 Day Horsemanship Clinic held at Mission Acres Equestrian facility located at 34131 Township Road 262, Cochrane AB T4C 1A2. This clinic is tailored for those riders who have not yet attended a clinic with Arnulf or who have only attended one or two of his prior clinics. In this clinic participants will be introduced to the AK Training for Horses and People foundation of horsemanship on the ground and under saddle. An introduction to the use of the hackamore/bosal will also be covered. This clinic is suitable to riders of both English and Western disciplines. Arnulf limits his clinics to a max of 7 participants which provides lots of opportunities for each participant to engage throughout this informative 2-day event. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. Two Day Schedule – each day: Start Time: 9:30 am – 10:00 am • Circle time – Conversation at the bleachers, with horses tied up in the arena and ready to go! 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Group riding time Lunch Break: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm • participants responsible for their own lunch and refreshments Individual Lessons: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm – Individual work, while other participants watch Equipment: Standard tack (saddle and bridle), plus you are required to have a rope halter and a 12’ ground rope. Participant Cost: You have the option to pay in full or by deposit. If by deposit, please see the payment schedule below. Payment can be made by e-transfer to arnulfkoegler@gmail.com: • $150.00 deposit required to register for the clinic to hold your spot. • $150.00 second payment 15 days prior to the clinic start date Additional Fees: Box stall and paddock fees are due at the time you pay for the clinic. Participants responsible for supplying their own hay. Box stalls - $35/day/horse plus GST Paddocks - $25/day/horse plus GST Auditing Fees: Auditing - $25.00 per day or $40 for 2 days. Auditing fees are due prior to arriving. Participants are required to sign a waiver form prior to any participation in the clinic. Cancellation policy: All fees are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to another person, or apply the fee to a future clinic, if needed.

Cancellation Policy

Clinic fees are non-refundable but can only be credited towards a future clinic or transferable to another participant by the original registered participant if cancellation notice is received 15 days prior to the clinic start date upon approval by AK Training for Horses and People management. If cancellation notice is provided less than 15 days prior to the clinic start date, no credit will be issued.
