Managing an equestrian facility wether it be a large facility or a privately owned smaller one takes a great deal of consideration - planning pastures for horse-keeping, considerations of forage, fencing, and composting. Is the forage adequate or do fields need restoration? How many horses can the land support? Where will hay be stored and fed? Is it necessary to build a stable or run-in shed? Where are water sources? What about indoor facilities, arenas, footing in arenas, pens, paddocks and pastures, building design, stall space, tack rooms, wash racks, washrooms and other ammentities? Staffing requirements and retention? These are just a few of the many questions that people have when planning to keep horses at a boarding facility or their own private facility. Safety is another key consideration - safety in the barn, in and around the facility and on horseback can usually be maximized with an assessment of existing structures, equipment and tack. Cancellation Policy
Clinic fees are non-refundable but can only be credited towards a future clinic or transferable to another participant by the original registered participant if cancellation notice is received 15 days prior to the clinic start date upon approval by AK Training for Horses and People management. If cancellation notice is provided less than 15 days prior to the clinic start date, no credit will be issued.
